Digital & Innovation Manager - Developer in Bradford

We’re looking for a Development Manager to lead one of our digital and innovation development teams implementing Agile ways of working and building an exciting range of customer and colleague digital products. It’s a really hands-on role where you’ll be expected to motivate and drive innovation.

You’ll be working with the Delivery Manager managing the workload of your team, which includes the analysis, design, development and continuous improvement of primarily front-end, web-based software solutions.

As a  Digital & Innovation Manager-Developer, you’ll be accountable for things like this:

• Managing a team of developers

• Leading the development of our key Digital and Technology applications

• Appraising and recommending processes for continuous improvement and Agile/DevOps strategies

• Keeping on top of the latest technologies and bringing innovation

• Developing effective relationships with stakeholders and explaining the business case for changes

You’ll need skills and experience like this:

• Team leadership with the ability to motivate a team

• Experience of delivering cost-effective and efficient solutions

• The ability to translate technical terminology into business language

• Ability to evaluate technology trends and their suitability for the team

• Experience in Test Driven development(TDD), Behavior driven development(BDD)

• Tech Stack: 

  • Web: (HTML,CSS,JS).

  • Microservices/Node/Express

  • React/React Native

  • DevOps

  • Docker

  • AWS, GCP, Firebase

  • RDBMS(Postgres/MYSQL), No-SQL(Mongo/Dynamo/Cassandra)

  • Experience in CI environment

  • TDD/ Component testing (Jest/Enzyme) / Jasmin / Cypress
