UK Data Center IMAC Coordinator

This role sits in our Global Technology Infrastructure Services (further referenced to as GTIS) department. GTIS’ mission is to build and run commercial hosting and collaboration solutions at speed, whilst ensuring robust and resilient environments in a partnership-oriented manner through a continuous improvement culture.

The Data Centres team is part of GTIS and is responsible for managing Barclays global data centre estate.
The Data Centres team also perform a key role in managing the various data centre related projects from moving whole data centres to refurbishing and opening smaller comms rooms.


• Act as primary point of contact for all data centre IMAC services
• Produce Management reporting of SLAs and KPIs for all IMAC services. Monitor performance of IMAC function against agreed SLAs and KPIs, Produce reports for senior management that describe performance against agreed parameters
• Create and deliver updates to management that articulately describe status and issues, and propose options for improvement or resolution. The reports would be developed in a combination of excel and power point reports and delivered in written form. Verbal presentation may also be required.  
• Ensure Data Centres provides quality, timely and efficient IMAC services
• Act as principle point of contact for project based installations. Work with RTB business stakeholders   to define schedules and ensure most effective use of data centre resources.
• Scheduling BTB data centre activities (installs, moves and changes) and communicating to engineers
• Carry out risk management of scheduled works
• Ownership of asset management for data centre IT installation


• Experience of working in a critical and regulated environment  
• ITIL Experience
• A working knowledge of Database tools/Assessment Management tools e.g. Nlyte or Aperture or similar
• Evidence of being able to support multiple projects at one time


• CDCDP (Certified Data Center Design Profesional) qualification or similar


This role is based at our Data Centre in Northolt, London. This is easily accessible via public transport and has shops and amenities close by
