As a Clinical Psychologist you will work at Brighton & Hove Clinic, a Tier 4 specialist eating disorder service for children and adolescents aged 12 – 18 year olds. At the service, you will be assessing and evaluating information from the service users, family and team to develop their individual care plans. The unit currently has 10 beds and is expanding to 16.
You will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working, risk assessments, facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and will be requested to design and deliver training. You will be able to manage an ongoing caseload as you will receive NHS CAMHS Tier 3 & 4 referrals.
Within the multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside the professional guidelines and contribute to the clinical psychology at Brighton & Hove Clinic to ensure high quality clinical care is maintained at the service.

Brighton and Hove Clinic provides highly specialist multidisciplinary assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with an eating disorder where behavioural or emotional problem may have resulted in a severely restricted dietary intake. Psychological interventions include individual therapy, systemic family therapy, therapeutic groups, meal support sessions and a parent support group.
