We are looking for a full time general adult psychiatrist to work in our two new General Adult units at Farmfield Hospital.
Farmfield Hospital is an 80 bed service comprising a 52 bed secure unit with both MSU and LSU wards and two x 14 bed general adult wards. The hospital is purpose built and run by the highly experience Elysium Healthcare group. The hospital is centrally located with excellent transport links to London and Brighton.
Applications are invited for a dynamic and innovative full-time consultant psychiatrist to provide medical leadership, and to function as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team. The consultant will take on RC responsibility for patients in both General Adult wards at Farmfield. The RC will have the support of a non-consultant grade doctor as well as secretarial support.
The successful candidate will require excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) and the ability to build effective relationships with service users, colleagues and other professionals. Good IT skills are essential.
