Talent Manager in London

Job description

As part of the UK HR team and working in close collaboration with the Global Talent Organisation, the Talent Manager will be responsible for executing the talent strategy for the Pandora UK & Ireland cluster. The Talent Manager will strive to create a high performing team, coaching key stakeholders to successfully drive personal and professional development within our London head office as well as a retail network including over 150 retail stores.

The person
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate how their previous experience has made a significant and measurable difference to people development within a high-performing commercial business. They will have significant experience of all aspects of talent planning, from training needs analysis to delivery and evaluation. We are looking for candidates with prior relevant experience who can clearly demonstrate their prior success in understanding performance needs and translating any identified gaps into effective learning and talent solutions.  Reporting to the HR Director and part of a growing HR team, this role will partner closely with both the local and global HR teams to ensure the successful delivery of talent and development initiatives within our ever-growing market.

Key role responsibilities: 

  • Own and lead the talent plan in the UK to ensure Pandora’s full people potential is achieved and continually developed
  • Proactively partner with key senior stakeholders to define talent strategies that supports the delivery of cluster objectives. Provide expert guidance in coaching management at all levels in the business to deliver talent initiatives and measure success.
  • Translate business requirements into effective talent solutions for all aspects of talent management including competency frameworks, leadership development, performance goals and measurement, succession planning and personal development reviews
  • Support leaders in identifying high performing individuals within the organisation and designing structured talent plans tailored to individual requirements
  • Promote and maintain a high-performance culture across the business, driving key capability measures and rolling out scalable and relevant activities based on differing performance goals
  • Collaborate with the global talent team to create initiatives to develop our next generation of Pandora leaders
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition manager to achieve mutual goals.This role will work with the TA Manager on onboarding, line manager training and skills development
  • Create and deliver content and promote a learning culture in support of performance outcomes
  • Conduct comprehensive training needs analysis to identify areas of opportunity in training and professional development
  • Support the global alignment of learning and development activities to establish consistent delivery across the organisation, deploying global concepts and tools to support the local talent strategy
  • Partner with the wider HR team on strategic projects that impact talent and development processes and systems
