Summer factory roles available in Newent

Due to an increase in orders, we are needing more people to help us in our Factory. As well as employment throughout the Summer, it is likely that we would be able to continue to offer work during other holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter.

40 hours per week
£8.72 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Main Duties:

  • Packing frozen bags of fruit & vegetables.
  • Taping.
  • Labeling and palletising ready for dispatch.
  • Decanting frozen fruit from the carton boxes ready for the machine.
  • Feeding the fruit onto the packing machine.

Working Hours:

  • We are in the process of introducing a three shift system, covering 21 hours a day, 6 days a week.
  • You would be required to work 4 shifts per week on a rotating pattern (either 6:00am to 4:30pm or 4:30pm to 3:00am, Monday to Saturday).
  • Overtime is available subject to production requirements - Overtime rates apply beyond 48 hours per week.

What we ask:

  • At least finished college A levels
  • We would require you to work shifts, therefore you would need your own transport if you live outside of walking distance.
  • Should be punctual and reliable with a good work ethic.
  • A great team player.
  • You will need good communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of the English language.
