A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional motivated individual. For more than two decades the Mesoform team has been implementing  enterprise grade solutions for technology problems in large organisations like HMRC, HSBC and Tiscali (TalkTalk), Hewlett-Packard, Deutsche Bank; and further impressing our cloud based IT Operations on well known brands, such as RIM, Sony, Samsung and SiriusXM.

What are you going to do:

You would be joining a team of highly motivated and skilled engineers.  You will be heavily involved in cloud computing, containerisation and DevOps tooling.  You will work in a friendly and relaxed environment where the emphasis is on the quality of your work and not the shininess of your shoes.

Your main task will be to write code for building and deploying platforms and tooling systems on a wide range of applications and architectures, and documenting chosen standards. You will also be required to provide support for the development of startup and enterprise customer environments where we always strive towards providing high levels of service.

Technical skills:

Exposure to some the following technologies and platforms will be advantageous but not all are a requirement as drive, determination and capability are more key to your growth within the company.

  1. Linux/Unix
  2. Automation and configuration management systems (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, Jenkins/TeamCity)
  3. Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm)
  4. Cloud technologies (Google Cloud, AWS)
  5. Scripting (Shell)
  6. Python
  7. Java/Kotlin
  8. Monitoring systems
  9. Logging and big data analytics (SIEM)
