We’re looking for someone to join the Online team as a Project Manager responsible for improving the Store Pick operation for Morrisons.com. This role will be based at our support centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the online team as we continue to expand at pace.
You’ll help to improve the customer and operational metrics for Home Delivery / Click and Collect orders and will have end to end accountability for delivering projects from initial ideation / concept development through to trial and rollout of the solutions you have developed. Over time you will continue to refine and improve the store pick operating model - improving customer experience and making the operations more efficient.
You’ll help to ensure we have a market leading offer as new ways of working are designed, developed and built, and will work closely with stakeholders such as stores, the field team as well as external suppliers.
In the role of Project Manager - Online Store Pick Team you’ll be responsible for things like this:

Ensure the customer experience is market leading - measured by customer retention, wait times etc

Use customer complaints / insight to identify opportunities to make improvements to the operating model, working closely with the existing stores team and the customer insight team

Understand broader changes in customer behaviour - and anticipate future customer needs to allow the proposition to continue to evolve to meet the ever changing needs for customers

Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers (and will be the key contact within Morrison’s)

Use insight to identify the issues which need to be addressed and change the operating model by innovating new solutions either by using technology to solve the issues or by improving for example the equipment used by colleagues

Take ownership of your projects and be prepared to make key decisions without the need to escalate

Work collaboratively and demonstrate a clear ability to work with other internal and external colleagues to deliver business benefits

Set long term strategic direction for your area, and gain approval to proceed with the plan you outline

Grow our Home Delivery offer by improving customer experience and improving operational efficiency
You’ll need skills and experience like this to be a success:

Comfortable managing large scale projects (>£1m capex)

Understanding of Online Grocery preferred but not essential

Formal project management training strongly preferred
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Clear ability to build a detailed roadmap to ensure the projects are delivered on time and on budget

Effective influencing skills across the business, and especially within retail operations / online team

Expertise in developing solutions / long term strategies also preferred

Able to work in a pressured environment with the ability to make quick decisions

Ability to use and manipulate data preferred but not essential
