Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides a range of community health, mental health and learning disability services for people of all ages. Delivered through over 100 settings from inpatient wards to out in the community, our 6,500 staff serves over 1m people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
We have a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, skilled registered healthcare professional with current clinical care experience to come and join our Resuscitation service within Learning and Development. We are looking for individuals who are registered nurses, ODPs or paramedics and possess comprehensive knowledge of resuscitation and patient safety, which can come from a range of experiences.
We are seeking passionate individuals who are able to work within a team, act as subject experts, empower staff and promote best practice. This post offers unique opportunities to work within clinical practice settings as well as simulation training suites across an integrated mental, physical, children and families health care NHS trust.
We have two roles available:
• 30 hrs per week
•37.5 hrs per week
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering RC (UK) training courses, developing and running clinical scenarios/drills in practice and working with the Learning and Development service to ensure quality and clinical currency of resus skills based training.
The Resuscitation service is led by our Senior Resuscitation Officer who is supported by two Assistant Resuscitation Officers. The team sits within a large learning and development service that are responsible for the Trusts education, training and development for all staff, students and learners. You will work across various sites within LPT dependant on service needs.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate they have confidence, competence and an ability to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for the role as is excellent organisational and IT skills.
