We’re looking for students to complete a short work placement focused on creating new brand collateral. You’ll be responsible for assessing the current brand, understanding the market and positioning, then developing a new brand style or content guidelines for the whole business. Working alongside the marketing or management of the business you’ll have the chance to hone your skills and learn more about creating and applying a brand identity whilst adding real value to the business.

SouthwestCIO is a small but ambitious company, founded by Matt Wood to build business value through the creation of multiple online services, brands and products. The business is value based and doing business with integrity is as important as making profit. Established in 2018, experiencing two years of growth, the business has undergone considerable change in the last six months, moving from a predominantly professional service business, to the startup of a number of online brands.
Matt Wood, as the founder has considerable expertise in business building having built and exited a successful regional software reselling business in 2015. He has mentored interns previously and has an MSc in Information Systems Change & Development from Manchester University and is also a qualified Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA). The business makes use of nocode cloud software to build operational and marketing processes.
