Job description

Tired of an old tech stack and not being able to use the latest tools? Ready to shape the future of MedTech, and work with only the latest SaaS technologies?  Axial3D Ltd is recruiting an experienced Product Manager to develop and own the roadmap for Axial3D software in a fast growing company.  An experienced and expanding engineering team is already in place.  You will be joining the start of a growing product team along with the Chief Product Officer with scope to shape the role.  Strong business acumen combined with experience working with agile engineering teams will help you succeed in this role.

The Company 

Axial3D specializes in the delivery of 3D printing software and services to the healthcare sector, providing machine learning-based solutions that support the integration of 3D printing into the treatment pathway, driving improved surgical outcomes for patients.

The Role includes

  • Manage product roadmap, ensuring the adoption of appropriate technology to improve the customer experience and business goals of the company

  • Executing on product strategy set by the CPO.

  • Documenting requirements so that they can be stored and reviewed as part of the regulatory process.

  • Lead the product prioritisation efforts within the Insights Platform ensuring that we are building the right things at the right time in response to the market and customer needs.

  • Management of product research, requirements gathering and ensuring the successful completion of development tasks with development team leaders.

  • Working with the Axial3D compliance manager, build quality assurance systems for software development, document internal company policies and procedures for the processing of data ensuring regulatory adherence and compliance with applicable standards particularly as pertains to medical device development, data protection and information governance

  • Plan and carry out product launches.

  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market.

  • Provide product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messages.

  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues.

  • Dealing with ambiguity on a daily basis, to bring clarity to the prioritisation and roadmap.

The following skills are likely to demonstrate your fit for the role:

  • Experience delivering SaaS or Cloud based product(s).

  • Working in an agile environment.

  • Previous experience working in a medical software or medical device company.

  • Ability to know your limits and ask for help when needed.  You love to take an issue as far as you can then take the initiative to learn something new.

  • Previous experience in an early or mid-stage company.

  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation.
