An opportunity has arisen for the pharmacy department to have a L3 Apprentice Pre Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician’s.
The opportunity offers 2 years comprehensive training in all aspects of pharmacy services on a rotational basis.
Individuals will need to be highly organised and motivated and be capable of meeting multiple deadlines. We will expect applicants to have an understanding of the role of a Pharmacy Technician (or have previous experience of working in a pharmacy).
Successful candidates will attend Sheffield College on a day release basis to undertake a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in The Principles & Practices for Pharmacy Technicians.
Students who successfully complete the 2 year course and associated study will be required to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
To be eligible for consideration for the Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician interview process, you must meet all essential criteria and have:
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (or equivalent*), including English Language, Maths and Science.
Applicants MUST have the required minimum qualifications and will be asked to bring original certificates to interview (or predicted grades for school leavers, on official letter headed school/college paper).
