Job Overview
The Wick Health Centre is a busy GP surgery with a list size of 7000 patients based in a multicultural part of East London. We are looking for an experienced part-time Practice Nurse. He or she will work 2 or 3 days a week and will be working with a close knit team of 6 permanent GP's, a practice nurse, 2 HCA's, a PA and a clnical pharmacist. He or she will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to the whole practice population, working closely with the Practice Manager and GP's.
Main Duties
We are looking for someone who has excellent knowledge of Primary Care to provide practice nursing services to the practice population and deliver care within the boundaries of their role.

Job responsibilities
To be responsible for the delivery of practice nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. The practice nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as infection prevention and control, health promotion, health prevention, well women and well man clinics as well the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure.
