Management Accountant in Swindon

Due to internal progression, we are looking to recruit a management accountant within our Group Reporting team. Forming a crucial part of the Finance department, the Reporting team is responsible for collating the periodic results and analysis, liaising with both practice accounts and Pets at Home finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support with the periodic reporting process to Vet Group and Pets at Home Group – including internal management reporting and external bank reporting;
• Own the cash transfer and cash flow statements process between Support Office and Joint Venture practices;
• Assist with developing and executing robust fee calculations and processes;
• Liaise with Pets at Home on intercompany accounts, including rent recharges for the group and other intercompany invoicing;
• Drive continuous improvement in the depth and quality of our reporting – ensuring that all our reports support insightful decision making;
• Work with the wider finance team to ensure balance sheet reconciliations are reviewed, complete, accurate and timely;
• Audit preparation and support for Half Year and Year End audits;
• Supporting on quarterly investor relations work;
• Provide analysis and support to the team in various ad hoc projects as required.

The Right Candidate:

• Finalist/Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• A natural communicator at all levels 
• Will have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Passion for accuracy and drive for improvement
