About the role

The Communications and Engagement Manager, based at our head office in Welwyn Garden City, will provide and facilitate clear and informative communication to support collaborative working across Property, Stores, and other enabling functions. They ensure regular communications engages colleagues and informs them of actions planned and delivered in line with business priorities. They also forge clear two-way communication and feedback frameworks that allow both the retail and maintenance teams visibility and understanding of key business initiatives by working cross functionally with the business support office and Maintenance Leadership Team who deliver these changes.

You will be responsible for
  • Taking the lead on establishing a communication plan for the year ahead within the Maintenance team
  • Ensuring tactical plans are communicated to our Retail teams
  • Building effective relationships and communicating clearly with stakeholders, managing expectations where required
  • Communicating with Maintenance Leadership Team and the wider business team
  • Networking with key members of Store Leadership Team to ensure clearer and simpler management of issues
  • Building a great trusted relationship with key stakeholders
  • Being fully accountability for Store Manager Perception Surveys carried out twice a year, as well as creating feedback loops to help unearth problems before they become bigger issues
  • Provide quarterly updates to the Maintenance team as well as performance measures on communication by region
  • Coordinate Regional Roadshows
