Senior Clinical Advisor Band 6 – HCPC/NMC

Based at either Newcastle HQ, Hebburn and Wynyard Billingham, Co. Durham

Salary: Band 6: £31,365 - £37,890per annum

We are looking for experienced clinicians to work full or part-time within our Integrated Urgent Care Clinical Assessment Service in order to assess and deliver care to patients across all age-groups, some with complex needs.

You will be providing assessment, medication advice and health information, supporting individuals to access the appropriate level of care including advice to manage their symptoms at home. Everyone at NEAS plays an important part in making sure all of our patients receive the correct treatment and care appropriate to their individual needs. What we need from you:

 

  • You must be a Regulated Health Care professional with current registration; registered with the appropriate regulatory body, e.g. as a Registered General Nurse, Paramedic
  • You will have substantial clinical experience in a range of settings
  • You will have generalist and specialist skills
  • Be computer literate including in MS Office packages

As one of our Senior Clinical Advisors you will be utilising your professional, clinical skills and judgement. Supported by NHS Pathways systems and other clinical decision support systems, you will be assessing the health and clinical needs of our patients across the North East area that access both 111 and 999 services.

The role requires:

As part of the Senior Clinician role you will also be responsible for the supervision, teaching, coaching and mentoring of staff which may include students, health advisors and other clinicians.
