Writers Needed for Music Writing Internship (Work From Home!)

mxdwn UK are looking for aspiring writers with a love of music and great research skills to bring guides to music fans in the UK.

What are you going to do:

We are the UK branch and extension of mxdwn, an American music and entertainment magazine. We have a news site where we cover the latest news from the British music scene. In our new vertical, we’ll be sharing guides to all things music – from streaming platforms, to discovering new music, to supporting your favourite artists. We cover a wide range of themes, so we need writers that are open to covering a diverse range of topics, including the ones that they are unfamiliar with.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Responsible and reliable 
  • Willing to learn 
  • Familiar with WordPress
  • Strong research skills
  • Music lover with a passion for a wide array of topics and genres.

This is an unpaid position with unique opportunities working with a team of writers for a quality publication. If you’re a student looking to move forward with a career in writing, this position is perfect for you. The position will allow you to gain valuable experience while working remotely, researching and publishing one long-form article (1000 words+) per week.
