CDD Business Associate

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours a week)

18 Months Fixed Term Contract

The role of CDD Business Associate is really important to us. Working in a small team, as CDD Business Associates you will handle CDD/KYC cases in order to comply with regulatory requirements. You will need the ability to resolve problems and maintain 100% accuracy.

When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Reading office. In the meantime you will be based remotely. You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager Elliot Manton, SME Savings Manager and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction on a Fixed Term Contract.

What would your day look like?

Ensuring the banks customers are compliant with Customer Due Diligence (CDD) regulatory requirements by conducting various background checks in accordance with Aldermore's policies and procedures
Work efficiently through work volumes on a day to day basis, delivering exceptional customer service, in line with our SME proposition
Be a team player, working as part of an inclusive and forward-thinking team
Handling exception processes (CDD/EDD/AML) monitoring
Responsible for the handling of the day to day work allocation including the updating of department work trackers, which enable effective reporting
Responds to any feedback and makes plans to improve or exceed against expectations, including individual targets and company values
Responsible for contributing to team engagement and embracing site-wide integration

What do we expect of you?

Experience of working within a regulated, banking or financial services environment
Detail oriented with a keen eye for detail
Technically minded with a strong awareness of industry wide regulation in banking KYC procedures
Awareness and commitment to quality and compliance and risk
Previous experience in system or user acceptance testing would be an advantage
Sound organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload, and that of others
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, decision-making and project management skills
Ability to deal with multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines
Passionate about customer service and is committed to 'making it happen'.
