Telent, Junior Primavera P6 Planner

London, Permanent

In these extraordinary times of the coronavirus outbreak telent is continuing to Recruit. We provide services to customers which are integral to providing mission critical systems and infrastructure across the UK and Ireland and we need to continue to deliver those services.

To help limit the amount of face to face contact during the recruitment process, we will now do more online assessments and use Skype/Conf Calls for interviews wherever possible.

With current annual revenues in excess of £400M and 2,400 employees. We operate within various industry sectors including Rail, Traffic, Public Safety, Defence, Service Providers, Enterprise and Public Sector.

We're looking for a Junior P6 Planner to join our London Transport team. With guidance and training opportunities available for you to develop and learn more about Primavera this is a great opportunity for someone who has the basics of P6 under their belt and is hungry to put that to good use.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting and evaluating project progress
Communicating and coordinating with all teams to ensure time & cost-effective execution
Identifying and predicting problem areas and provide viable and intuitive solutions
Support Project Managers in reporting the performance measurements
Conducting weekly progress reports for a variety of stakeholders
Logging project time-lines and maintain the database of tasks and their status
Producing, updating and maintaining Project Plans and liaising with the PMO and Engineering teams to ensure all plans are realistic, achievable and adhere to works information
Critical path analysis and earned value management

What do I need to apply?

Basic and demonstratable experience of using Primavera P6
Previous experience of Microsoft Project
Ideally you'll come from a Rail or TfL background
Foundation knowledge of NEC3 is desireable but not essential
Keen to learn and develop
Ability to communicate at all levels to understand and respond to project stakeholders
A methodical approach to planning activities
