Health Care Assistant, Sexual Health - COVID-19 in Slough

TheBerkshire NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity available which will allow the successful candidate to gain regular shifts and valuable experience within a unique environment. The Sexual Health Service based in the Garden Clinic in Slough are recruiting for a Health Care Assistant to join the team for a full-time post (however, part-time support will be considered for the right candidate).

The Garden Clinic offers a range of services including testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, and contraception services. You will be part of a friendly and dynamic team who are committed to the professional development of their staff. Phlebotomy experience is essential to this role.

Locations covered:This post is working at the Garden Clinic in Slough but you will be required to travel to and work in locality clinics in Bracknell, Windsor and Maidenhead.

Band 3 – Example Rate

Day Rate - £10.81 per hour

Night/Sat Rate - £14.60 per hour

Sun/Bank Holiday Rate - £18.27 per hour

The post-holder will be:

• Able to work flexibly and show willingness to work across locality clinics
• In possession of good communication skills
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Open minded in nature and not judgemental
• Able to work in a highly confidential environment

Applicants will need to be a car driver with the use of a car for work purposes.
