A major player within the facilities management industry are looking for an electrical biased, Data Centre Shift Engineer to work at a large global data centre in Farnborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a facilities company, who boast a fantastic client base, with an unparalleled breadth and depth of technical expertise in the built environment.
The role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of the data centre, carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance, in a high-pressure environment. Services would cover all the equipment within your data centre. This includes (but is not limited to): - Air conditioning, Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), UPS batteries, Electrical switchgear, Sprinkler systems, Generator systems, Fire detection and protection systems, Room integrity tests and all associated HVAC systems.
Candidate Specification:
Electrically qualified - Apprentice Served, 17th / 18th Edition
Knowledge of Data Centre Systems and critical environments
HV AP (Desirable)
Test & Inspection (Desirable)
Ideally have NEBOSH or similar H&S qualifications
Able to pass security clearance
