Customer Service Representative x2 - HGV/Commercial vehicles service centre
This world-class engineering company, with a reputation for excellence, has an opening for 2x Technically-minded Customer Service Representative to start ASAP on a temporary rolling-basis for 6 months.
Initially Service centre-based, at either Slough or Leeds depot, then can be home-based.
You will act as local service champion, ensuring the effective operation of the service department by providing full technical and operational support to all depot-based service staff, customers and dealers.
This will include, but not be limit to:
• Co-ordinating /supervising service personnel ensuring service and customer requirements are met.
• Receiving calls and emails from customer's reference engine repairs/breakdown attendance.
• Regular team performance reviews with management to ensure branch targets are met.
• Leading and implementing the local branch excellence programme.

Owning and enforcing all service processes and procedures as well as H&S standards are met and enforced.
• Responsibility for invoicing jobs and meeting targets set by branch manager.
• Providing relevant process and technical training skills for warranty repairs.
• Managing holiday requests and time sheets for a team of workshop technicians.
• Assisting in recruiting and developing all service staff including Apprentices.
• Leading and implement the local branch excellence program.
Experience and skills required:
* Multi-tasker with good customer service skills.
* Technical knowledge/experience gained within a front line vehicle dealership/service facility (i.e. HGV /commercial vehicle/ military vehicles /ground support vehicles etc).
* Experience of leading/supervising technicians.
* Technical Qualification preferably- Apprenticeship/HNC or equivalent.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety & quality procedures.
* UK valid Driving licence.
* PC literate.
This could ideally be someone with experience of working in a front line vehicle dealership who has lead/managed technicians, invoicing and customer interaction.
Realistically need to be living within easy commute of Slough or the Ridings, Leeds.
Hourly rate of £14-£14.50 if offered (equivalent to £27-£28k. Mon-Fri 37.5 hour week
