Job description

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.

Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services, we see on average around 5,000 patients every day.

Level 3 Adult Health Care Apprenticeship

Fixed Term Apprenticeship for 18 months

37.5 hours per week £4.63 an hour

Based in: Hazelwood Ward, St Michael’s Hospital, Warwick

Applicant must have maths and English GCSE grades 9 - 4, or equivalent.

We are looking for motivated individuals who have a desire or interest to undertake an apprenticeship in an Adult Health Care role within our Trust in Warwick.

You will need to be committed to completing your apprenticeship with us and most importantly be willing to learn.

We will provide you with training and ongoing support to enable you to work on the wards and clinics.

We expect that you can demonstrate good customer service and interpersonal skills to include compassion, understanding and empathy.

The roles are for a fixed term of 18 months and include support for you to study for an apprenticeship in Adult Care Worker Level 3 however once you have completed the Care Certificate standards, attained a good standard of work in your qualification and your manager is happy with your progress you will move into a Band 3 role and complete your qualification as a substantive full time member of staff.

You must be able to get there for early shifts starting at 6:45am.
