Commercial Workshop Controller needed in Gloucester
Main commercial vehicle repairer dealership

As a HGV Workshop Controller, you'll be looking after a team of technicians and apprentices, reporting direct to the Service Manager.
The ideal candidate must have worked previously as a workshop controller and have excellent organisational and management skills as well as having a "hands on" approach.
We would expect you to display a combination of strong technical knowledge and people management skills.
Main duties include:
* Good understanding and knowledge of VOSA regulations / standards
* Diagnosing faults using appropriate software
* Service, repair and fault diagnostics work on all vehicles
* Employing a 'right first time' approach to work
* Ensuring constant quality of work and working within appropriate job timings
* Repair of hydraulic drive systems where appropriate
* MOT preparation and inspections work on vehicles and trailers
* Completion of all specific company and official paperwork
* Have excellent communication and leadership skills
* Take control of all apprentice activities.
* Demonstrate an understanding for Warranty processes
You will ideally be apprentice trained and qualified as a Vehicle Technician to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 / 3 equivalent with proven industry experience.
Full driving license and hold a Class I or II licence, would be advantage.

Based on a 45-hour week, Salary between £30kpa - £35kpa (depending on experience) plus bonus and overtime.
