A Trainee Customs Clearance Coordinator is required for a well-established family owned business based in the Portsmouth area. Our client works primarily with major Supermarkets and other Blue Chip Clients along with a number of repeat business clients, operating a large fleet of international trucks in the import and export of goods.
This is an exciting opportunity for an articulate and self-motivated individual who is looking to start a career within the industry. This is a fantastic chance for the right individual to work closely with the Customs Clearance Manager to assist in the customs clearance department which will be ready to go from the 1st January 2021.

Trainee Customs Clearance Coordinator Position Overview
Reporting to and working alongside the Customs Clearance Manager.
Assist in customs processes on behalf of Operations.
Gathering all vital info from customers, arranging export / import clearance and maintaining data integrity on internal systems.
Trainee Customs Clearance Coordinator Position Requirements
Good GCSE's A-Levels as a minimum
An interest in logistics / business
Fluent in English
Communication - You will be speaking with customers colleagues over the phone face to face.
Organisation - Prioritisation time management are key
Problem Solving - Must be able to critically solve issues as they arise both internally and externally.
Living in or close to the Portsmouth area
Driver's License
