Department:SMB & FocusReports to:Sales ManagerLocation: ThealeHours of Work: Monday – Friday, 8.45am – 17.45pmContract type: PermanentJob PurposeOur Sales Teams look after small to medium size business right through to some of the largest resellers across the UK. Working with these accounts can be demanding – the teams work at a fast pace and are used to managing a busy workload. In this high-volume Inbound Sales role you will manage day-to-day requirements from your account base with the aim of delivering increased revenue across the accounts.The Job RoleYou will own a number of select accounts that have been chosen based on their opportunity to grow in 2021 and specifically in the “client” space. On top of the account manager role you will be a “Brand Ambassador” for a specific vendor within the client space e.g HP, Lenovo, Surface. Your role will be to grow this account set and try to take our SoW within the respected vendors to a new level. You will work closely with you selected vendor and will become a specialist in that area. You will build a strong understanding of your accounts to deliver growth within both revenue and profit as well as uncovering any significant opportunities that can be capitalised on, communicating these to specialist teams in the business, and identifying inefficiencies within the customer process, working with our Sales Operations teams to make life easier.This is an opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills, with ability to work to targets and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.Key Responsibilities•Build professional, strategic and productive business relationships with account base via email and telephone•Respond to all quote requests from your account base, identifying opportunities to increase lines per quote and overall revenue and profit•Manage customer expectations around pricing, stock availability and lead times•Manage the roll out of bill and hold agreements across your account base•Own a select vendor and be a specialist for that team being responsible for training and deal maximisation.•Work with the Sales Operations teams to improve customer inefficiencies and overall business processes•Be the main point of contact for the selected vendor across all the accounts within the Focus team.•Work closely with Finance and Customer Services to resolve issues and queries•Provide cover as needed for Internal Sales Account Managers absence and holiday•Keeping up to date and informed on all new products, services, and sales toolsKey Skills•Previous experience in either a sales or high-volume administration/customer service environment•Knowledge or a keen interest in IT or technology would be beneficial•A proactive approach to account management•A high level of organisational skills and excellent attention to detail•An excellent communicator and relationship builder•Ability to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalism•Entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the drive to exceed targets•Embraces collaboration and celebrates success•A willingness to learn and motivation to continuously develop your industry knowledgeAbout Us Established in 1984, Westcoast Ltd is a privately held company that distributes leading IT brands such as HP, HPE, Microsoft, Lenovo, Apple and many others to a broad range of resellers, retailers and office product dealers in the UK and beyond.Since then we’ve grown to become the number one UK distributor for many of our vendors and customers and the group employs more than 1,300 people across a number of locations in the UK, Ireland and Europe.Thanks to the hard work and dedication of everybody at Westcoast the company is flourishing.
