Recruiting for a Service Delivery Lead for an ‘Outstanding’ rated Physical Disabilities Residential Service in Barnet. You will be an experienced Deputy or Service Manager ready to step into a large service and take on responsibility for the day-to-running, ensuring inspirational leadership and service delivery compliance across the board.

You will be working for a well-known national disability charity who specialise in providing residential support and nursing care; they are committed to creating caring communities that promote inclusion and wellbeing for the people they support. This service is currently rated ‘Outstanding’ with CQC and is in need of a new Service Delivery Lead who is passionate about continuing to develop a service supporting in taking it from strength to strength.

Key Responsibilities of a Service Delivery Lead:

  • You will take the lead on the day to day running of a large residential physical and learning disability service.
  • Reporting into a Registered Area Manager you will deputise for them in their absence and ensure that the service delivery complies with the requirements of the care quality commission and other statutory regulars as required ensuring that reporting systems and action plans are in place to address any needs ensuring the highest standards are always achieved.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of the service users, ensuring systems are in place and followed for the reporting and investigation of safeguarding incidents and relevant action taken.
  • You will provide inspirational leadership across the service to a team of Team Leaders and Support Workers.
  • Service Delivery Lead Requirements:

  • It is essential that you have at least 3 years’ experience supporting Adults in the Learning and Physical disabilities sector.
  • You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working at a Deputy Manager level or above ideally within a Residential setting
  • You will hold a minimum of a Level 3 in Health and Social Care but ideally hold a Level 5 in Health and Social Care Management
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement and be compliant in CQC essential standards of quality and safety.
  • Experience of performance management including handling of disciplinary and grievance issues.
