Youth Worker - Hull
GSL Education's newly opened Hull Branch is seeking to employ a Youth Worker to work within Secondary Schools, Special Schools and Alternative Provisions within Hull and surrounding areas.
Applications for this post are encouraged from those who have experience within the realm of SEN. This prior experience could be working with either children or adults. GSL Education welcome applicants who have worked within a healthcare/general care setting owing to the transferable skills required to successfully undertake this position.
As the ideal applicant, you will be required to underttake duties such as:
* developing strong rapport with students
* working with students who require consistent individual support
* effectively managing potentially challenging behaviour
* communicating with teaching staff to determine and identify students who need 1:1 interventions and specialist support
* communicating regularly with parents to ensure action plans that have been implemented are put in place
