Logistics Coordinator - VR/21671
Our client, a specialist Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Biotechnology Logistics company, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Rochester.
Duties of the Logistics Coordinator:
Execute a daily transport plan to balance our inventory of assets around the world
Administer each transport booking from request to invoice payment
Support customer service and other operations departments with advice and lead-time planning to fulfil customer orders
Liaise with the Global Network Stations to confirm available inventory
Identify potential inventory shortages and find strategic solutions to back-fill
Create, check and approve shipping paperwork for customs clearance
Requirements of Logistics Coordinator:
Ideally come from a transport/freight forwarding background with a can-do attitude
Looking to work in a dynamic environment with a friendly and highly motivated team
Good knowledge of freight forwarding (air, road and sea freight) as well as understanding of general customs processes and requirements
Attention to detail is critical and you will need to be able to shoulder responsibility as a key member of a small international team
Good Excel and computer literacy skills are key
Flexible with working hours and will be keen to develop a wide range of skills and experience in a high service logistics sector
The successful Logistics Coordinator will receive a salary depending on experience.
