Production Operative (Part-Time)
Saint-Gobain Weber is the world's leading industrial mortar manufacturer, we are a growing business and in need of talented production operatives to join us at our modern manufacturing facility in Flitwick!
This role is part-time, as part of a job share agreement. The job share arrangement will also include occasional full time working covering planned holidays and sickness where possible. The pay scale shown below will be pro-rata in agreement with the job share as this is a part-time role.
Duties will include:
Management of automatic filling machines
Recording and moving materials using our warehouse barcode system
Manual handling of materials in some areas
Use of lifting equipment and forklifts
Storing finished goods and raw materials
Packing & labelling goods
Accurate recording of production data
Compliance with SOPs and quality standards
We require you to have previous experience working within a production environment and a can do, responsible attitude towards your role and responsibility. Previous experience with Continuous Improvement tools and driving a FLT would be helpful but training can be given.
