D Grade Nurse - Orthopaedic & Spinal Unit - COVID-19 in London

We have an exciting opportunity for a D Grade Nurse to join our Orthopaedic & Spinal Surgery Unit, based at our main hospital (W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of £36,002 - £38,906. Job Description

To be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and service to the patients. 

Job Type: Full time and permanent

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, mixed shifts

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for individualised patient care acting as the named nurse, using the Roper Logan and Tierney model and documentation for the department.
  • Integrated Care Pathways
  • Ensure legibility and accuracy of nursing records and be aware of the legal implications of these documents.
  • Promote safe practice and professional conduct. 

Skills & Experience

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC Registration
  • At least 12 months current acute surgical or ortho/spinal experience preferred
  • Excellent under pressure, time keeping & communication skills
  • Knowledge of Nursing Standards and models
