Covid 19 is a challenge the likes of which the NHS hasn’t seen for many years but we are #TeamNNUH, we are the NHS, and we are coming together to meet this challenge today, tomorrow and until it’s defeated.

If you are passionate about caring for people, enjoy working as part of a team - in a busy, fast paced, environment - and have excellent communication skills, then working flexibly via our Temporary Staffing Bank could be the role for you. We can offer a competitive salary, weekly pay, and entry into the NHS pension scheme as well as the first steps on to an exciting career pathway.

Previous experience of working as a Healthcare Assistant or Assistant Practitioner or in a similar role is desirable due to current circumstances. We are seeking individuals who want to make a difference to our patient's experience on a daily basis.

You must be aged 18 or above and will need enthusiasm, motivation and confidence as you will be expected to work in a variety of areas across our Hospital. You will be asked to work on a variety of shifts and will be expected to perform duties to the highest possible standard, working to our values of People Focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence.

We will provide initial training to deliver the skills you will need to work in a busy hospital, and, if you are working as a Health Care Assistant, we will support you to undertake the nationally recognised Care Certificate Training Programme over the next 3 months as you work for us.

Applicants should be aware that these roles are likely to sit within parts of the hospital that responds to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) patient care and as such there will be a requirement to follow the relevant risk management associated with working in these areas.

To allow us to establish the right place for your skills, please use your supporting statement to describe your previous experience and training, including any particular areas of interest.
