Supply Chain Project Manager (New Product Introduction)

This $100m turnover manufacturer of precision engineered solutions is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join their growing business.

Reporting to the VP Operations, as Supply Chain Project Manager, key responsibilities will be to: -

Coordinate programme and planning of new product introduction for operations based in the UK, America and the Far East.
Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity of new products.
Support all sites in order to meet customer demand, driving performance to achieve exceptional customer service.
Project manage the new product pipeline, communicating progress to the business.
Control the planning, capacity and release of work orders into the factory, utilising resources efficiently.
Lead daily management meetings with the planning team.
Coordinate with multi-site operational leads to provide data on order book patterns, strategic business direction.
Liaise with engineering to coordinate current and future capital projects.The successful Candidate will -

Be experienced using ERP.
Have gained their experience working within manufacturing.
Have project management and supply chain experience.
Be a confident communicator.
Production and capacity planning experience.
Be financially aware and be able to identify risk to the supply chain.This newly created role would suit a project manager with supply chain experience, or a supply chain professional with project management experience to join this growing team as they continue to develop and launch to market their new products.
