About the School - Lead Practitioner of Maths - Camden, North London

Located in the vibrant inner London borough of Camden which has great transport links to the centre of London and to the home counties, this large, modern secondary school is looking to appoint a talented Maths Teacher to take up a lead practitioner role from September 2021 on a permanent basis. This school produces excellent results across all subjects and key stages mainly due to the excellent teaching that takes place at the school but also because of the students desire to learn. Students are well behaved, enjoy their lessons and are determined to succeed. This makes for a great teaching and learning environment. Maths is a popular subject through to A-Level and the department has a great mix of experienced and newly qualified teachers who are currently supported by an exceptional head of department.

*The most important aspect of the lead practitioner role is that the post holder must be an excellent teacher, able and willing to share their knowledge and expertise with their colleagues to develop them into excellent teachers.
*Subject knowledge is important as is the ability to help students make sustained progression.
*This post will require someone who has lots of ideas around how to help the department develop and is only suitable for experienced teachers. The school offers ongoing CPD, career progression and a highly supportive environment.
