Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical biased)
Salary: Salary is dependant on experience ranging from £25,000.00 to £27,000.00, there is also a shift allowance of 33% of basic salary taking the salary to £33,250.00 to £35,910.00.

My client who is based in Doncaster is part of wider group that are the world leaders in their field, creating and making systems for residential, non residential and engineering projects.

They are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical biased) to join their fast paced, professional and dynamic team.
THE ROLE:
In your job you will be responsible for
*Reacting quickly and efficiently to unplanned breakdowns of key manufacturing assets in a fast paced production environment
*Carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with equipment and schedule attainment taking into consideration any legal requirements. Developing new activities where and when required
*Supporting shift lead engineers in maintaining plant and equipment in line with customer service requirements and required OEE
*Involvement in assembly project work
*Carryout shift day to day (weekend) maintenance activity's maintaining machine availability within the assembly area
*Carryout proactive work including PPM and improvement work
*Involvement in long term projects within the assembly area
*Operate in line with all company H&S Standards
*Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation
*Help implement workplace organisation in engineering department
*Mentor Apprentices within the maintenance department
THE CANDIDATE:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent time management skills with the added need for flexibility as and when required
*Display effective organisational skills
*Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
*Time served engineer with a strong technical knowledge in automated assembly and packaging systems
THE BENEFITS:
For this role your shift is working a weekend pattern, Friday to Sunday, covering a 12 hour shifts which is alternative weeks days and nights. This covers 36 hours over the weekend.
This is initially a fixed term contract with a 12 month review.
