What are you going to do:

We’re a Gourmet Food Brand with an ecommerce store looking for a social media intern to grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company. You should have knowledge of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

Responsibilities:

SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

• You will manage our social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and potentially additional channels (Snapchat, etc.)
• You will create  stories daily and posting them to our Instagram account + 3-5 stories 
• You will pin relevant posts, creating boards, and increasing reach, visibility, and followers on Pinterest
• You will, create, edit, and share engaging content daily, across a variety of mediums (text, video, blog, etc.)
• You will respond to comments and messages in a timely and polite manner
• You will oversee all content and creative on social media channels, manage content calendars and build a social strategy
• You will remain current on popular technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications 

INFLUENCER OUTREACH

• You will create partnerships with micro-influencers on IG and Pinterest
• You will work on increasing followers on Pinterest & Instagram by following other highly relevant people who like content similar to ours
• You will join, participate and engage in baking facebook pages and in facebook groups as needed

PROMOTIONS

• You will suggest and implement unique features such as complementary food brand collaborations, promotions and giveaways contests, to grow following and develop newfound brand awareness

Integrity - You are a good fit if you can be honest with your fellow team members. Open communication and honesty are paramount to myself and the team. If you aren’t able to hit a deadline or make a mistake be upfront about it, we are all human after all.

Commitment – We are looking for a long term relationship with the expectations that this will become full time. If you're just looking for a few months of work this is not for you.

Desire to Learn – We are a small team but growing fast. We want people who are open to learning new skills and taking on new projects if you're not excited about improving your skill and trying other things this is not for you.
