First Achieve are recruiting for our key partner a leading Global Freight Forwarder for position of Container Fleet Specialist in the Essex region.
Keen to speak with candidates with sound technical knowledge of Container Management in repairs and servicing.
Due to current Covid restrictions the role will be home based initially however will revert to fully office based.
Key duties:
Maintain GELCAB system for Owned Fleet Management / SOC movements
Add container specifications for Owned Fleet containers
Add image database for all Owned Fleet containers
Communicate with network with availability of equipment
Ensuring responsiveness of network enquiries
Working alongside Operations Manager and SOC team for fleet efficiency
Ensuring on hire and off hire data is given to network in timely manner
Checking damage estimates and approving/refuting as necessary
Ensuring that Owned Fleet diary is kept up to date
Seeing through a Fleet Project from start to finish
Liaising with container depots for in gate/out gate/damage estimates/reports
Completing and sending Seaworthy Certificates to network as requested
Sending releases/estimates to network as necessary
Sending Fleet Management reports to Operations Manager/Director on a weekly basis
Experience Required:
Technical knowledge in Container Vessel management in repairs and maintenance
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work without supervision
Experienced team player
Able to work under pressure
Enthusiastic and driven to achieve targets and objectives
Excellent customer service skills
