Job description

We are looking for people who are passionate about Customer Service and keen to work for one of the largest Financial groups in the UK

Working as part of our clients Financial Health and support teams, you will be required to support delivery of first class customer service to internal and external customers.

The role requires you to handle an array of inbound and outbound telephone calls in relations to customer accounts and queries supporting customers who may need help in managing their finances; who are in financial difficulty; or have a general enquiry regarding the account.

You will build effective trusted relationships with our customers on every call you take, and by listening carefully and asking the right questions, you'll identify and promote the best possible outcome.

You will ideally have some previous Customer Service experience; however, it is more important that you can demonstrate previous experience of engaging with people confidently. Excellent IT/Technology skills are essential, as well as an innovative mind set with a proactive approach to problem solving. A natural flair and a genuine desire to help customers are also essential to succeed in this role.

Our client offers a fantastic training programme that runs between 7/8 weeks with ongoing support and coaching.

You'll be required to work 5 days of 7 hour shifts, between the hours of 8am-8pm Monday-Friday & between 8am & 5pm on Saturdays. You will need to be happy to commit to working on a Saturday every week, the client does ask for flexibility; total hours are 35 hours a week.

Due to the current pandemic this role will require for you to work from home for the foreseeable, therefore it is imperative you have a comfortable and quiet area within your household to allow you to work effectively with an appropiate chair and desk/work surface. To commence the role you will be required to have a working laptop/computer with the following,

  • Windows laptop/computer must be on windows 8 or above.
  • iMac/Macbook must have Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or above.
  • Strong Wifi Connection
  • Smartphone/Smart device with Zoom

Your own equipment will be needed to start the role however further into employment you will be provided with bank equipment.
