Job Title: Delivery & Installation Lead
Location: Swanley, Kent
Salary: £27,000 Per annum
The Role:
My client is a premium luxury brand, who really values their customers’ homes; safely handling products upon delivery and providing a high quality installation service that satisfies the customer.
- Responsible for leading a team of two, including training and supporting a Delivery & Installation Assistant.
- Lead by example: promote a high standard of customer care and service, work in a safe and efficient manner, and uphold professional behaviours at all times.
- Responsible for the full operation of assigned delivery van.
- Ensure all necessary checks are carried out so that the vehicle is safe and legal.
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness.
- Work efficiently and professionally to ensure all goods are delivered on time.
- Receive, load and unload orders.
- Responsible for safe manual handling of goods during loading and delivery, adhering to company policies and procedures to mitigate risk and create a culture of safety.
- Provide professional assistance to the customers upon delivery.
- Safely and efficiently install and connect the products within customers’ homes.
- Remove old customer products.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and able to manual handle large kitchen appliances (bending, lifting, rotating, push, pull, etc.).
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Experience in the appliance or consumer electronics industry is desirable.
- An effective communicator and confident with customer interactions.
- Genuine interest in home installations, general home maintenance and competent in connecting electronics would be highly beneficial.
- Have the ability to show a positive and progressive attitude and a flexible approach to change.
- Have a strong desire for self-development and a willingness to learn new skills.
