Vision for Education is currently seeking a full time Learning Support Assistant to work within a specialist school in the Durham area. The school caters for young people who have Autism (ASC) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
The role
Working as part of a hardworking and dedicated team, the successful Learning Support Assistant will focus on delivering support to young people with ASC and MLD.
This position will be 5 days a week, working 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday.

Have experience supporting children in small groups and/or 1:1.
Have experience working with children with Autism, MLD, SLD, PLMD and other complex needs.
Ideally, have a DBS on the Update Service.
Have a patient and caring nature.
Be available to work between Monday and Friday 08:30 - 15:30.
