These Collections Agents are for an award-winning Finance Provider who operate an ethical and responsible lending policy. The Collections Agent will provide assistance and payment solutions the company's customers who may be in financial difficulties and comply with regulatory and company policies at all times.
These are full time positions working in a department which is open 8.00am-8.00pm Monday to Friday, with some weekend work also required.
You will deal with incoming and make outbound calls to customers in arrears to discuss payment options. Dealing with customers queries, payment plans and manages arrears on hire purchase agreements. The busy Collections team provide technical and product specific support to team members and customers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Achieve set revenue targets and call quality objectives.
Assisting customers in early stages of arrears.
Advise and influence clients' customers on the payment options for debt recovery.
Handle each call promptly and in the correct manner, updating records accordingly.
Display the highest level of verbal and written communication to our customers.
Managing customers' expectations.
Providing support to customer relations department.
Input customer related data accurately and efficiently.
Take responsibility for resolving disputes, ensuring that caller concerns are actioned correctly and all parties are notified.
Ensuring full understanding of the Company's quality standards and expected standards of service in support of this role.
Key Skills and experience:
Able to remain calm, patient and polite when handling difficult calls.
Be a confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic team player.
Previous experience in collections.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ensuring the team are focused on customer service 'Best Practice' at all times.
Computer literate to include MS Office.
Must have understanding of CCA, SOGA and FCA regulations.
