Entry Level Carpenter

Princess Yachts are looking for Entry Level Carpenters to join them on one of their 6 sites throughout Plymouth Devon.
This role is to assist Fully qualified Carpenters in the fit out process of the Yacht. You will be required to complete daily tasks that are set within the time frames given. If successful you will be place to do one of the three areas below:
Pre Build -
* Run in all pipe work, hot and cold feed and all waste pipe, following the diagrams set out in the build plan.
* Fit through hull skin fittings, again following diagrams.
* Fit Grey Water Boxes throughout the boat.
* Help with glazing the hull.
Build -
* Helping higher grade carpenters with fitting of furniture
* Scribing panels, this being panels to be covered in material and also finished polished panels.
* Help to seal cabins
Teak Decking -
* Scribing of teak to cockpits, walkways and hatches
* Final fitting of teak to the boats
* Seal and sand teak for final finish
If you have previous experience as a Carpenter's Mate, have hand skills in relation to Carpentry or have completed NVQ Level 1 or 2 in Carpentry please apply within.
