I'm currently working with an expanding instrumentation engineering provider. They provide the majority of Energy from Waste and Power Stations throughout the UK. Working with some of the biggest names in the industry, they provide certified data logging software to monitor and report the site's emissions to ensure compliance with their environmental permit and generate reports for the relevant environmental authority. They also develop integrated and portable gas detection products incorporating embedded firmware.
The Role
We have a requirement to recruit an enthusiastic software engineer to join our team. The individual must be able to work with a small team of software engineers to ensure quality targets and deadlines. The role will be mainly office based but will require some travel within the UK. The successful candidate will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Skills (Not essential as will consider Graduates)
Experience within the .Net Framework (VB.Net)
Experience of software source control systems
Understanding of software design patterns and principles
