English Teacher for PRU
English Teacher Required for PRU in Staffordshire.
Are you a qualified English Teacher with experience working in PRUs or with students with SEMH?
TeacherActive are working with a Secondary PRU in Coventry to find an outstanding English Teacher with experience of working alongside students in both KS3 and KS4. Your role will be to promote the accelerated learning of the students in line with the National Curriculum, working across Key Stage 3-4. The successful English Teacher will need to be naturally engaging with a genuine passion for young people's learning. Excellent classroom management skills are also a must.
Experience and strong knowledge of the National Curriculum is essential for role.
The successful English Teacher will have to have a minimum of 6 months experience of working in a classroom environment, fantastic organisational and communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with staff and students. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons to small groups of students. You will also have the full support of Youth Workers in the classroom.
