Part-Time Finance Director (4-8 days per month), Essex
Our client is an innovative consumer technology company who is seeking a Part Time FD to assist with their ambitious growth plans. They need a Finance Director with a proven track record in fundraising to help the business raise finance from PE / VCT or other source to help finance its exciting growth plans.
Responsibilities:
- Sense check and sanitise business modelling tools
- Ensure finance practices are robust
- Liaise with accountants and MD & Board to ensure annual accounts reflect accurate business performance
- Assistance with specific finance-related initiatives
- Develop the Business Model
- Ensure integrity of financial information
- Advise regarding finance-related regulations & compliance
- Contribute to Board discussions
- Lead the fundraising initiatives
Required skills/experience:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified FD with sound commercial experience
- Good communication skills
- Experience in the Technology Sector
- Fundraising with investors
The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Director with a proven track record of raising finance within an SME technology business or similar, and is a great time for someone to join an ambitious and expanding organisation.
