Free People - Junior Account Executive / Account Executive
We are looking to hire a Junior Account Executive / Account Executive to play an integral role in the development and management of Free People brand. The role requires a smart, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented team player who takes ownership over projects and ensures successful delivery. The candidate must exhibit excellent organizational skills, attention to details and have a solutions-oriented approach. Responsibilities also include selling the collection, managing the critical path, and maintaining/building relationships with accounts.
We are looking for a candidate who has wholesale showroom experience, a natural eye for fashion, and a good awareness of Free People as a brand.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the sales managers in servicing all UK and EU accounts
- Completing weekly sell through reports and bestsellers for all major accounts
- Perform weekly review of reorder opportunities based on selling reports analysis and inventory availability
- Presenting monthly collections for RTW and brand extensions (movement, shoes, intimates) to customers in a confident and professional manner.
- Responsible for order maintenance, check, and approval on B2B for all agents and distributors
- Checking, communicating, and actioning all product changes in accordance to merchandising logs
- Responsible for updating all shared logs (account lists, returns log, market log etc)
- Calendar management - ensuring all showroom / Zoom appointments and internal meetings are booked.
- Must have a global awareness of the Free People business.
- An exceptional awareness of current and future fashion trends.
- Research new markets and prospect stores to continue the growth of wholesale business.
- Organising, attending, and selling at tradeshows to buyers and clients.
- Market support (greeting, organising food / drinks, creating order forms, noting selections following each appointment and sending to buyers)
- Understanding and ability to work within all facets of the order process including logistics, credit, production.
Required Skills
- A love and understanding of the Free People brand, customer and product
- Proficient in office systems such as MS excel/word/PowerPoint/Outlook
- Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the entire sales process; including client prospecting, taking orders, order maintenance, shipping, and follow-up.
- Ability to maintain and build relationships with clients and buyers.
- Flexible attitude towards new projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
