Salary: Up to £120,000 Base + Benefits + Bonus

Role Responsibilities:

My client, a reputable Software Provider into the Financial Services industry sector, is looking to hire an accomplished Software Delivery Manager with in-depth experience of running end to end Agile teams and of the full Agile delivery lifecycle on complex projects, gained within the Energy Trading sector.

In this role, you will work closely with the firm’s CTO and Product teams to deliver complex IT projects for external UK and European based clients. You will wear multiple hats and make full use of your software development background allied to your Energy Trading expertise, running complex software delivery projects, team management, running demos and Agile sprints and acting as the main point of contact for CTO level external stakeholders. 

Required Skills:

• In-depth background as a Software Delivery Manager, with an emphasis on Agile delivery
• Detailed background in the Energy Trading sector – ESSENTIAL
• Detailed understanding of Energy Trading systems and platforms (ETRM, Endur etc)
• Proven track record of successfully running Agile Software Delivery teams across development, architecture, testing and systems analysis
• Hands-on technical skills allied to leadership background – comfortable running sprints and demos, technical leadership to software developers etc.
• Personal background in Software Development (Java or .NET)
• Detailed understanding of software delivery practices and Agile principles and methodologies -Scrum, Kanban etc.
