A market leading Building Services Engineering business are currently looking to add a Junior Commercial Surveyor to their specialist team based in Petersfield. Paying £25,000 pa this is a great opportunity for someone to step into!
What will I be doing?
The objective of the Commercial Surveyor is to provide commercial and financial support to all projects
within the Business Units. Particular responsibility is placed on the presentation of Valuations, managing
Sub-Contractor / Supplier payments, variations and Final Account agreements. The Commercial
Department is responsible for the Commercial, Bid Management and Procurement Management of the UK
Company. The Commercial Surveyor role forms part of the Commercial Team who are responsible for all
the Commercial and Financial aspects related to the Projects from Tender negotiation through to Final
Account settlement.
What do I need?
- Strong administration experience within a construction or technical environment.
-Good understanding and experience of commercial finance preferably within a technical arena, e.g. Construction or Construction services Industry.Excellent communication skills. Well organised and proactive.
- It would be advantageous for candidates to have 1- or 2-years' experience working within a building service or construction organisation however if you have experience in a similar field with financial experience this is a great chance to learn and progress.
