Part Time Financial Accountant - 30 hours per week
Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a well established manufacturing business in Hull with a turnover of circa £180 Million. They currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and fully qualified Financial Accountant to join their central finance team to work on a part time basis (Circa 30 hours per week).
This will be a varied position, working as part of the financial reporting team where you will be responsible for producing the statutory accounts, dealing with audit preparation, as well as continually seeking to improve processes and procedures across the department.
The main overview of responsibilities will include:
*Preparation of statutory accounts for the Group
*Oversee the annual audit process
*Accounting for group companies
*Preparation of the Group Corporation tax computations in conjunction with external advisors
*Responsible for balance sheet reviews on a monthly / quarterly basis
*Assist in ensuring that the business has appropriate and robust financial processes and controls whilst meeting the challenge of continual improvement and efficiencies
*Assist the Financial Controller as required
To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:
*Qualified ACCA/ ACA
*Experience in preparing statutory accounts and group consolidation
*Audit preparation and statutory accounts
*Balance sheet analysis & reconciliations
*Corporation tax experience
*VAT knowledge
*Excellent IT skills including Excel
*Work to tight deadlines
