Maintenance Engineer with a multi skilled or mechanically biased background required for a successful global manufacturing company. This is a great chance to join a hardworking and motivated team, with the opportunity to boost earnings through overtime.
This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer from ANY manufacturing industry. Those with automotive experience will hold a considerable advantage although this isn't essential. You will be multi skilled or mechanically biased but also have basic knowledge of fault finding on PLCs.
Your time will be split between carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery e.g. extrusion machines, lathes, milling machines. You will also be required to carry out some installation and project-based work. In this role, you will be required to fault find on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment, and will mainly be working with hydraulics, conveyors, bearings, gears, single phase & 3 phase.
The company require mandatory weekend overtime 1 week in every 3, which is payable at a premium rate. There is also the opportunity to boost earnings through mid-week overtime.

The Role:
* Planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production machinery
* Fault finding on a range of mechanical and electrical equipment
* Installation of new machines
* 1 in 3 weekend's mandatory overtime
The Person:
* Experienced Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
* Multi skilled or mechanically bias with knowledge of PLC's
* Basic level lathe and milling work needed
* Basic fabrication skills
* Apprenticeship or equivalent would be advantageous but not essential
* Electrical qualification would be advantageous but not essential
